Havana Cuba, Cuba. - A reflexive look at the work of Havana Province trade unions helps us appreciate their efforts to fulfill their missions in the territory.
However, it is important that instead of rejoicing with success, the bitterness of dissatisfaction is sipped, since there is still a long way to go.
No one can deny that Havana Province union movement should work harder. Identifying that priority and acting accordingly will allow the affiliates of Cuban Workers Federation to develop the right strategies to overcome their shortcomings.
They realize that these are times to build labor class awareness and culture. The political and ideological work that builds awareness and convinces people cannot be neglected. The times are not right for imposition or improvisation. Persuasion, commitment and foresight are needed.
This is the only way to banish from the everyday work a handful of subjective problems, like labor and technological indiscipline. These are liabilities that spoil the performance of some working crews.
The depth of the analyses made in the recent provincial assembly leads us to the conclusion that Havana Province workers have their feet on the ground and their crosshairs locked in the heart of the targets.
