Havana Province,
Cuba. - World Capitalism quibblers and small time philosophers
have being throwing false and ill-intentioned accusations against
the humanist character of the Cuban Revolution for half a decade.
They keep targeting our leader, Fidel Castro Ruz.
I don't think there is a computer capable of quantifying the
resources spent by the imperialism in that wicked task. Their
geniuses of crime planned countless attempts to remove the Iceberg
of change. They wanted to kill the bearded man in green olive
fatigues that has proved for the last 50 years the possibility
of a better world.
The truth is, and the Great Power knows it very well, that the
pyramid of Capital began crumbling since January 1 1959. That
day, an island located barely 90 miles south of US coasts emerged
as an iceberg in the frozen ocean of exploitation and inequalities.
Now the foes of Cuban Revolution in Washington and Miami accuse
our nation of terrorism and call Fidel a devilish and perverse
being.
But, who dropped atomic bombs on Japan? Who dropped the chemical
substance Orange Agent over Vietnam? Who trained, financed and
orchestrated the mercenary invasion of Bay of Pigs? Who assassinated
their own President? Who has detached genocidist troops in Afghanistan
and Iraq? Who tortures prisoners in Guantanamo? Who fills the
vaults of the Industrial Military Complex? Who attacked Yemen
with rockets? Who destroys the Ozone Layer and ignores the Kyoto
agenda?
On the other hand, the Commander in Chief of the Caribbean Sea
Island eradicated social inequalities and opened the gateways
of literacy, culture and health care for his people. He accomplished
it in spite of the insane and inhuman blockade of the mean gentlemen
from the sulphured Washington court.
The change in Cuba happened half a century ago.
And now, in the 50th anniversary of the revolutionary triumph,
every time reflections from the Iceberg are published, the truth
spoken by ALBA Brightest Light gives Uncle Sam stomach cramps.
